Default Problems

I am having a couple of problems with my 1997 Blazer. First, it is very hard to start every time. After it starts it runs very rough missing, etc., until it is completely warmed up then it runs perfectly. Second, the interior light will not turn off. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

When is the last time you had a tune up, cleaned the maf sensor or egr valve?

I have tried a tune-up(plugs, wries cap, rotor) but that did'nt help. But,please tell me more about the maf sensor and egr valve please. Like where they are how to service them etc. Thank you

These things are VERY fussy when it comes to tune up parts, (plugs, wires, cap & rotor). They like AC Delco, anything else will give you trouble, and they won't last. Have you checked fuel pressure and leakdown? Requires buying, renting, or borrowing a fuel pressure tester. Is the check engine light on? If so, what codes are in memory? Most auto parts stores will retrieve them for free. Write them down in the order they are retrieved and post them here.
