Default Quad Beams beating a dead horse but

Ok, I got the info to do this. Very straight forward once the questions were answered. But after reading the info here and other Sites, One person warned that it melted his Stering column harness. On one of the Quad Beam posts, this was my main question, "Does the low beam wires draw twice the current now that they both beams stay on or does it trigger the low beanm and high beam relays so they run on there own designated power? "

So, you guys who have had this quad Beam setup for years now...any issues?

I´ve been driving with quad lights since last fall without any problems.

I have had the quad beam setup since August, no problems thusfar. It does draw more power definitely, but on the same wires, I don't believe so. I believe your DRL/High have their own power wires as do the Low Beams (at least on my Sonoma they do) so your not transferring more energy over the same cable, just more energy over both respective cables. Hope that helps.
