Default question about side view mirrors

I was wondering if you guys knew if I could use the side view mirrors off of an '02 blazer for my 98 blazer? its the same body but for some parts my truck is very specific some times. I just want to make sure before I buy a pair.

They should bolt right in. Wiring may be different though...

They are two different mirrors! Knowing this because I have owned both a 98' and a 02'. **CHECK OUT MY AVATAR PICTURE...the green is the 98'...you can clearly see the difference between the two!!!** The 02's are a little beefier in construction (BIGGER HINGE), but seem to mount to the door in the same fashion. The only difference I could tell you of the two is that my 98' had a defroster on the passenger side only. My 02' is wired for both...I guess GM assumed that we would use our sleeves on the mirror to clean it (I did!).
