Howdy y'all!


I own a 2001 4wd Blazer and was wondering what is that black box just behind the driver side rear wheel.. It's tucked under the bumper.

 

EVAP canister. It collects the fuel vapors to burn them later when the engine is running.

that's what I figured it was.


A couple weeks ago I replaced the solenoid assembly just above the spare tire. FOr the life of me I couldn't out how disconnect that connector. Lookis just like the ones on the EVAP canister.


Whats the trick?
