I have a 2-Dr, 2001 Blazer. About 5 years ago, I installed a Scytek 5000 RS alarm, which is still working just fine. A couple days ago, I finally got around to installing the Passlock II bypass module for remote start.

The remote start works fine. Car starts with key or R/S with no problem, however "sometimes" during the start cycle the security light stays lit (not blinking). If I turn the car off and restart it, it will go off. I will also point out that I never had this light issue until I installed the bypass module, so I am sure its related to the install.

What did I miss in the install? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
