Default here it is

these are the best pics I could get. The wiring was worse, before I fixed it the switched wire got shorted to a constant, and fed power to my ignition and I couldn't shut her down. I plan on putting the relay a bit closer to the fan and wrapping it all in wire loon and tying it off somewhere safe.

right now the hot wire is hooked up to the fuse labeled stud, and the switched is hooked up to the oxygen sensor fuse using a fuse tap. What size fuses should I be using for these 2 wires, and where is the best place to tap them in,

You know I just thought about it, It is probably always running at high speed. It has the sound my mind always associates with overheating.

Not sure what fan that is but I am running a Intrepid fan. Have low speed hooked up to a temp sensor to come on at 195 off at 185, that is so when I am moving I am not having the gan run. My high speed is hooked up to come on with the AC. And using relays for both. I live in Ga and never have a issue with over heating. Having it run all the time puts extra stress on the fan.

I'm thinking about getting a sensor. I don't want the fan to give out here in Vegas in the summer.

Are all of these fans the same as far as wiring? Do I just apply +voltage to the 3rd wire to kick it into high speed?

Well yes and no on the fans having the same wiring, looks like you have two fans and I am only using a single dual speed fan. But what I would do is wire it like this, one fan for temp control and when the AC comes on both come on.this is a good site to help with working options

It is just a single fan. the 3rd wire is just a small wire like 16 gauge. I was assuming it was just meant to go strait to the ac clutch wiring, and didn't require a relay. those diagrams are really helpful, thank you.

Dual relay is a must, id it is a dual speed fan. Hoe manny wires are there on the fan?

so this is what I think I figured out. there is a big blue hot wire, big black ground, and small blue and orange mystery wire. also right below the plug there is a 4 position socket, I cant see it to good, and couldn't get a good picture. I think this fan is a single speed with a built in relay socket. but whoever put it in wired a separate relay, instead of finding the one that goes to the fan. or that other socket is for the high speed connector, I don't know I wish I could figure out where this fan came from. If I had the cash and my other work was done I would do the two fan setup in the link you sent me.

The fans that more people use is either the Taurus fan but it users allot of amps on start up, Intrepid fan, and some use 4th gen dual fan setups. I got my Taurus fan off eBay for 100 new, but with the relays and the temp switch setup is ended up running close to 200. If I had it to to over again I think I would have just used the 4th gen camaro/firebird dial fan setup. Not that I don't like my dan setup it is hard on the electrical system. I have done the Big three upgrade and the AD244 alternator upgrade also, to handle the extra amps req to run fans. Here is my fan set up. Also try searching for electric fan mod to see if anything pops up. I haven't searched much on this site but it is ran by same company that the s10 forum is ran by so the search more then likely sucks...also use a temp sensor to kick on when engine get to 195 and off at 180 using the coupler kit from jefs
