Default Radiator leaks

Hi guys,

Just gotten my T-case seal replaced and now a new issue...

I drove about 40Km's then parked my truck after I got back from the Garage(t-case seal replaced). My wife then took it 20 minutes later(10Km's) and when she got back there was white smoke comming out of the exaust.

There was somekind of milky -caramel liquid comming out of the Ruber hose under the truck(overflow?),located on the pass side.On the other side,Perstone was dripping out of the radiator.

I checked the engine oil and it looks Ok,no white or another stuff than the oil.

This appened to me another time when again, I brought it to wallmart for a battery ckeck,(that time no milky goo was dripping tough). Then I Got out of the garage & I floored it ...and the problem disapered...But Now its Back!

I'll ckeck my plugs one by one and look for any traces tonight.

*Whats funny is that kids tought I modified the truck for smoke during hallowen...lolll

Sounds like the culprit could be a blown Intake Manifold Gasket. White smoke out the exhaust indicates coolant getting into the combustion chambers and being blown out the exhaust as steam. It is possible that the gasket has not failed along a seam allowing coolant into the oil (YET!!!!), so get this taken care of asap (NOW!!). This is a fairly common problem with the Blazer family (GM). The IMG repair takes about 6 concentrated hours of work (you'll need to disassemble a fair amount of the upper engine area to get to the IMG's), but your truck will love you once the job is done. The parts will cost about $50.00. A shop will charge about $750.00 (or more) do this job. I did my '96 in my driveway this summer.

Thats Very good to ear.I am now on my 8th hour.Plenum is out and has lots of oil in there! .Now I cannot remove the down one! I have removed all screws.Maybe the is one hidden under the fual lines near the firewall(Drivers side)?I started to unscrew these lines in question but fuel was comin out of there.,Is that OK to just let the fuel out? Its under pressure?

I banged with a piece of 2x4 wood to try and disengage that lower part of the intake..Any tricks?

I really appreciate your reply! I am poor and cannot afford to have it done.+ I must buy a new rad(at least I took it out this morning+ Belt

Hope to ear from you
