Any tips on best place to buy a radiator for a 96 blazer auto with oil cooler? Auto Zone has one for about $130, looking for something little cheaper if possible but don't want a piece of junk. Any help appreciated. Thanks J.R.

 

Check local shops. I got an OE replacement from a local shop for $100. Don't know where you live but good deals are out there. $130 still isn't bad.

 

I got the best deal on mine through a local rad shop. do a quick search for local radiator shops in your area and get on the phone.

I found ordering one online was the most expensive route after shipping. plus being local if for what ever reason you need warentee, you don't need to screw around with mailing the rad back, etc etc

 

I agree with checking with small shops. I prefer to do business with a small shop rather than a chain store.
