Default Random "blinker" sound and right blinker indicator stays on

Gents,
Got another odd problem for you with my newly inherited 98 4dr base model.

Here are the symptoms I'm seeing:
First start of car - all guages fine
If I manually turn headlight switch to something, the right blinker indicator arrow stays on solid (no ticking sound like blinker is on though).
If I turn my right blinker on, it blinks twice as fast as the left blinker.
And the weirdest one is that as I'm just driving normally, randomly I'll hear the "click" sound the blinker makes when it's on, but clearly it's not on. It just "clicks" once at a time usually at random times. Quite annoying...

Anyone else experience this?

"If I turn my right blinker on, it blinks twice as fast as the left blinker."

that used to be an indication to replace one of the bulbs

Remove RightFront parking lite bulb, see if it still does it. If not, bad ground on that bulb or socket
