why the hell did chevy make replacing the heatercore in this truck such a sonnabish!!!!!!! its starting to get "cold" here in atlanta and i have to do what to replace the heater core? GTFO

i REALLY dont want to do this myself, as of lately im so over working on cars, maybe im just getting old and lazy. then again i also dont want to pay a friend 600+ to do it for me. damn you chevy, damn you.

I know, right?!?! Mine is busted, too. But I have to do mine myself. I'm glad I'm somewhere a bit warmer so I can procrastinate.

Just make you a heat tube that funnels the air from around the radiator into the truck with you. Plus it's a good way of finding out if you have any exhaust leaks.
HEAT TUBES HERE.

ill most likely end up doing it myself too cause i was laid off about a month ago and im poor ugh

hmmmm.....interesting lol i have really been thinking about doing something like this lol cause its only cold here for a few months lol

maybe a space heater in my truck? ROFL.

you can cheat it out without pulling the dash all the way out. whats chilly there 50??? i have ice on my windows in the morning here!!!

The heater core replacement is a bitch. I did find a few short cuts so feel free to check out my post regarding the replacement. If you know exactly what your doing then it "may" take less time than you thought. Not for me though lol.
