Really weird problem

Ok so the other day I went on a trip out of town to visit a freind. Well my blazer ran fine all the way up there, but on the way back it acted up. I was driving and i hit a smaller hill I gave it some extra throttle and my turck kinda shaked for a sec but then stopped so I shrugged it off and kept going well the next hill I hit it really acted up my blazer downshifted and I went up the hill like normal well the hill got steeper so I had to give it more gas...well when I gave it more gas it bogged down...the more throttle I gave it the less power it had. but if I let off it would get more power. well It died about a mile later. after trying to start it it sounded like it was not getting fuel so I went and pushed the fuel pressure tester nozzle and it sprayed fuel...I did some tinkering for a few mins went in and hit the starter adn it started right up. so I started driving again went 10 miles and it died again...let it sit for a few mins hit the starter and it started right up. Well I was able to get home but the check engine light was on but not flashing. well before I could get it on a scanner the light went out. and it has been fine since. should I just consider it a fluke and move on or should I be worried?

Could be any number of things. You really should perform a fuel pressure test the next time it acts up.
You could also run through the normal tune up items (plugs, wires, cap, & rotor) as well as cleaning the MAF sensor, EGR valve, and throttle body (including the IAC valve & bore). You can test the TPS sensor for smooth increase from ~0.5V at idle to ~4.5V at wide open throttle and back down.
Another thing that comes to mind is an over heating coil and/or ICM. You used to be able to get them tested at a large number of autoparts stores, however, the ones that still do it are becoming more rare. It's worth a try to pull them and take them in. If you do find a store that can test these items, have them tested 10-15 times in quick succession to heat them up and mimic the temps while running under load.

Idk what to say here. It runs fine now...the light has popped on and off a few times. I got it on a scanner and a mas and o2 sensor codes came up. the o2 one doesnt worry me cause it does that from time to time. the mas I think is acting up over the K&N c.a.i. I put in. I plan to do alot of mateince it needs soon. plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter and a thremostat and a raditor flush

I would be VERY suspicious of the catalytic converter. Mileage? Ever done before although either of these questions are probably irrelevant. If you can duplicate the issues-then pull a forward o2 sensor now if better powerwise then whola. Plus the codes mentioned mimic a cat conv. issue. Jerry

I had almost the same symptoms last year on mine. Except mine didn't go away, it was hit and miss at first but then got worse and more frequent. I changed my mass air flow sensor, and my EGR, problem solved.
My code was also the Mass air flow.
