Rear ABS activating while sitting still
#1
Hey guys, gals, aliens, whoever
98 4x4 jimmy, 4 wheel disc brakes.
When i hit the pedal, when i'm stopped, like the first start of the morning, the right rear sounds like it's vibrating, actually KIND OF sounds like the bad rear wiper motor noise.. but it's not, it's not as loud, and it seems to be the right rear caliper.
is there any sort of test, or something i can do other than just beat the hell out of the pedal while someone tries to hear it? because of course it doesn't want to do it then lol
i'm assuming i've got a caliper on the way out, but i guess it could be an abs sensor???
any ideas would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

i usually see this problem with the front bearings, at work we hook the scanner up to it and read wheel speeds, which ever wheel speed is different or not working when it activated then you can start there.

okay, thanks. they actually made a sound when i let off of them this morning going to work, so i wonder if it isn't something stuck back there and it's a creak... idk, i'll rip into it here in a few hours
