Default rear bearing race on 98 blazer

I have a 98 blazer 4wd. Does anyone know if the bearing has an outer race or does it just ride on the axle tube? I was using a slide hammer to remove it and only got the rollers out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No race on the outer bearing (closest to the wheels). Only on the carrier.

The outer axle bearing is assembled with the rollers inside the outer race, so it all comes as one item. If you only got the rollers the rest is still in the housing and you need to remove it.
Look at a new one and you will see what I mean.

Thanks for your help. Part of the race broke when the rollers came out, I was afraid i screwed the axle housing up.
