Fiixxeeddd!
I had never worked on drum brakes before but it was a good learning experience. It turns out that both of the wheel cylinders were done. And now for the scary part. I don't think the rear brakes EVER worked since I have had the Jimmy. Almost five years now. I just thought it had crappy brakes. The difference is night and day now that I have the new wheel cylinders in and I re-adjusted the shoes. Although, last night I was about to shoot that freakn car. I spent 45 minutes trying to get the brake line to go into the wheel cylinder. Every time it threaded it cross threaded. I chased the threads on it...and of course I could get the brake line to thread if the wheel cylinder was in my hand. But noooo not in the drum housing.
So, I was able to get my emissions test done and she passed with flying colors
Thanks for the help!

I stomped on my brakes the other day and the brake light went off. The pedal felt a little better but when I stomped on the pedal hard the light would come on then go off when I let of the pedal. The valve must have finally opened so I then bleed the rear brakes and the problem was solved. Has a nice pedal now and problem fixed. Thanks for your help.
