Default Rear Brakes grinding

2001 Chevy Blazer, Two door, rear wheel drive LS blazer. I have replaced all my brake pads and rotors also have replaced my rear brake calipers. When i bled the brakes it came out black. I am not that great at brakes so i don't know what it could be. My only thought is the Brake booster. My rear brakes start grinding after 4 or 5 miles through town meaning alot of stops. tTired of pouring money into something that might be an easy fix. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

sounds like the calipers are frozen but how long ago did you replace them ?

I would agree with possibly frozen caliper, does your truck idle along when you let your foot off the brake as it should?

On my 99 s-10, I went through two or three calipers over the 300K

Could be cocked caliper. Check ASAP!
Check rotors.. grinding side would be rougher. Must make sure caliper slides easily.
I had that happen once on a rear, checked and relubed pins and it never happened again. Never did figure out why it happened.

Is it a heavy type of grind or more like a sheetmetal rub? I had the pad shims scraping against the rotor on my old '00 Bravada and that threw me for a loop or two. One of them on each side was in just enough to rub on the outside edge of the rotor.

If it is a heavier type of grind, do you have the parking brake shoes adjusted properly? Is the brake backing plate flexed in too close at any one location that it might be touching after the rotor warms up & expands?
