Hello people. I have a 2003 Blazer, is 2 door with manual transmission and is 4x4. I’m trying to find 1 rear axle shaft. Someone knows what type of axle is? The diff is making a groove in the outer side of the axle, where the outer bearing is located. Thanks for any help you can gave me.
Yep...been here. RockAuto has replacement axles.....well they did for mine, but I had a 4dr auto. Give them a try or any auto parts store...nothing special about this axle. Be sure to change the axle bearing. How does the other side look? Have you been running spacers or large tires?
When I did mine I found that many online suppliers had conflicting crosses for my truck and configuration. I eventually took it out, measured it and ordered based on the specs of the axle and ordered a pair of Yukon axles. Everything worked out perfectly. Had the same problem with the seal so I matched up the old one to get it right.
I have a 2002 2WD, 4Dr with 4 wheel disk and G80 locker and mine was Yukon YA G26058696. Counted the splines, checked the length, diameter and lug pattern.

Agree with George; since you have the axle out, measure the length, count the splines, wheel bolt pattern is 5x4.75 or 5x120.65, start searching and match-up these specs. I replaced both axles even though the left side was the one that was really worn.
Your choices are 28 spline (7.625" ring gear) or 30 spline (8.625" ring gear), G80 posi or not, ZR2 option or not, 4WD or 2WD. Lot of different axles for Blazers.
Your local dealer may be able to look it up based on your vin number and/or RPO codes.

They're probably made at the same forge in India as most aftermarket axles, and just Dorman-branded. If you want something made in USA, you're going to pay a whole lot more.

You could be right and paying more up front beats paying twice and doing the job twice.
