Rear disc parking brake help
Update: Parking Brake Lever Boot
I checked with my local O'Reilly Auto Parts store,
and ordered the Dorman # 924-244, Parking Brake
Shoe Kit, this kit contains the correct rubber boot,
holding bracket, and two screws. Cost: $31.49 ( + local
tax ), freight cost, of $7.84 ( if, not in stock), total cost
of $43.26!

I came across this older thread due to trying to find these parts again. I have some information that I have not yet been able to confirm, but I thought it worth adding for others.
It turns out it is not we Blazer owners alone who have struggled with trying to find these protective boots that go around the parking brake lever. People with 98-02 Camaros have been struggling with this too. I also found a useful thread at our sister forum S10Forum.com. Finally, I found an update on the boots mentioned earlier in this thread about ones from NAPA. These are rebranded Dorman boots. (see below)

- In this thread the poster was able to adapt the Dorman 924-243 boots that go to, among other vehicles, 1999 Silverado 1500s. They had to do some trimming to get them to fit the retainer by narrowing the lip around its perimeter. (I will be trying this as I just recently purchased a pair.) These boots look to be possibly more durable than the ones that come in the kit Dorman 924-244 that are supposed to be direct fit replacements, although expensive. I saw a review on Amazon that the bolts for these don't fit all Blazers.

- A post to this thread makes reference to the Dorman 924-243 being a direct fit for the Camaros
- This thread also includes another solution where the boot is replaced with a flat piece of rubber that has a slit in it.

- This post has a document has a link to the 99-02 Camaro parking brake exploded parts diagram that is useful for comparing to what we have.

- This thread describes using a baby bottle nipple as a replacement. The poster claims it is made with more durable material.

- This is a vendor that sells replacement boots, p/n 9802DUSTBOOTS, for the Camaros for about twice the price of the Dorman boots. However, they are supposed to be direct replacement for the Camaros, so they could be made to work for our Blazer with some trimming of the perimeter of the lip of these.
- NAPA
- https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOE7356847, https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NOE924243
- If you go to Napaonline.com and search for "7356847," they come up as unavailable, but superseded by NOE 924243 that, unsurprisingly are made by Dorman. They have the same VRMS code, 013003033.
For those swapping Rear Drum to Rear Disc brakes Bruin brake cables can custom make a set of 2nd gen brake cables with the 1st gen cable housings. The brake cables would be OEM with the correct connector for the rear disc brakes.
I did chuckle a bit when I saw they were out of Illinois. When I lived in northern Indiana, I didn't think anyone used their parking brake due to the lack of hills.
