I recently noticed after my dropgate is closed up securely and I try to close down my glass hatch, the latch may be out of adjustment. It just needs to be closed very firmly and very tightly. Can I adjust the latch for the glass to be not so tight? It used to not be so tight. Any suggestions would be helpful. This is a 1999 Blazer with dropgate.

 

yes, there is a 10mm nut (10mm I believe) that you can adjust the latch mechanism outwards..
