Excellent point, drperry. The best lubricant would be a synthetic that doesn't dry out, attract dust or moisture, and can withstand wide climate changes.

Did anyone try a marine store for fuel hose??? I would think it would be available there.
As far as a good lube that doesn't evaporate you should look into Fluid Film, made by Eureka Chemical company out in CA.I could list a hundred usesbut if you check out their website it would be easier to read about.
BTW I've used Fluid Film for the past three months and everything they say is true.

Hey man, I own a 1996 LS and my rear wiper doesn't work either. When i push the button, it just clicks fast. ( Sorta sounds like a machine gun) How did you fix that problem and how much $ was it ?

Cuppy, read post #5. I explain the fix in gory detail. Cost is $0.00, so long as you have some tools and some silicone grease.
