Rear hatch wont stay open 2001 zr2

Hey everyone, so today when I went to put stuff into my trunk I could not get my rear glass hatch to stay open on my 2001 zr2. The glass opens with no problem but after 2 seconds it falls. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

replace the gas loaded shocks that are on the sides of the glass

thats what they look like and they call them window struts

You can find them at AutoZone fairly cheap.
