Not necessarily. People have put wider spacers on with stock 4wd rims before and not had problems. Sure, anything is possible.
CV shafts wouldn't care about the rims being further out. They have issues when you are lifting it.

i was saying for the different rims in the front. in the back i don't know what it would mess up. i know it would put a lot more stress on your studs. which means they're more easy to snap. which is not a good thing. the farther you space the rims out the more stress.
