Default Rear window washer check valve.

2002 Blazer LS, 4 door, 4.3L, 4WD. The fluid leaks when the tailgate is down or when I put the front wheels on ramps to change oil. Can someone tell me where the check valve is located? Is the part number 24024822?

Default O.K. I found it.

I lifted the plastic molding, with my fingers, from the rear ledge of the floor in the hatch that covers the edge of the carpet. I probably should have backed out farther with the photo to show that this is near the left hinge for the bottom tailgate. Just dig with your fingers and find the check valve. It appear to be a "straight" valve and the elbows are part of the hose. When I google ACDelco 24024822, I get a different shaped valve. May have to go to a GM dealer to narrow the search.

Smile Sucess!!

I decided to remove the check valve so I could take it with me to a dealer. But, first, I flushed it with the garden hose, both directions. Aha, after a couple of cycles, it appeared to be O.K. I reinstalled it and it does not leak as before. Sometimes you win!! Case closed.

The rear washer on my ole '95 used to leak and I dug into it only to find that the hose had pulled off of the check valve....so I had an even easier fix.
