it doesn't work right. when i turn it on, it just makes a loud clicking noise over and over, eventually stopping when i turn it off. i took it off and used soemthing to help it move....it works for a bit, but only when the wiper is above the stand it sits on...when turne off it won't go all the way back down it just clicks again loudly. is the motor gone bad?

It sounds like the motor is too weak to move it unless the wiper arm is bent making to push too much pressure on the window.
