Default Rear Wiper

I have a problem with the rear wiper. It turns, it sprays, but the wiper doesn't make contact with the rear window. It lifts up and doesn't touch it at all. Any thoughts?

Is the module inside the hatch loose? It may not be properly secured causing it to sit wrong and lift out.

I hate these rear wipers, sometimes mine works, other times it don't, I can take it by hand and spin the whole thing around, probably needs to be replaced.

Didn't know if something could be loose or broken. Had taken it apart yet. Been acting up fora while but didn't have time to deal with it. built junk to begin with.

Yep, the rear wipers are CRAP! Of the last 4 Blazer/Jimmys I've owned, only 2 have worked. And one of the two only worked for a few months.
j.u.n.k.

As swartlkk mentioned.

The Arm sits in a holder that pulls it away from the window, there is a pivot point where a spring pushes the wiper to the window when it lifts out of teh holder, that pivot point might be a bit rusted so the arm can't hinge on it. A little oil and working it might free it up
