rear wiper getting stuck
Hey does anyone else have the problem that their rear wiper likes to get stuck in between the hatch and the hatchglass? and how do you adjust it. really annoying when it happens.
Thanks

The wiper arm itself is splined onto the drive from the motor. You can remove the nut under the plastic cover and move the arm down lower so that it rests back into the cradle better. You may want to clean the splines out on the drive shaft out of the gate so that it bites in better once reassembled.

I had this happen and ran across this post trying to figure it out and finally did, thought what I found might help someone else.
For me it was not the motor/etc. there's no need to bend the arm etc. as long as the arm is trying to move and if you lift it out of where it's stuck it operates fine until it's turned off again, when it will get stuck again. There is a little black plastic "puck" on the rear wiper arm that slots into a plastic cradle on the tailgate when the wiper arm is at rest. This puck gets a groove wore in it over time and it lets the wiper get too close to the tailgate so the wiper then falls into and gets stuck in the gap between the tailgate and window.
Unfortunately Chevy no longer sells the rear wiper arm or this part anymore, so the only option is to find a used take off part that still has a good condition "puck"
