Default rear wiper issues still

ok, i am still having issues with my rear wiper.

symptoms: the wiper will only move if i am assisting it by lifting it off of the window, as soon as i put it on the window it cant move anymore (motor not strong enough?)

the first problem i had, the motor just started clicking and humming, sometimes it worked fine. the motor assembly has an electric control module mounted on it. i bought a used motor with the module at a wrecking yard. After installing that, the results were the same. buzzing, clicking, it seemed like it wanted to move, but couldnt.

i went to autozone and bought a remanufactured motor. After inspecting my factory module for bad electrical connections, i deemed it ok (i also tested voltage with a multimeter). So i swap the new motor with my original motor, and mounted my original control module to it, and now the motor seems to rotate fine.

new problem: now the wiper will move, but only if i am lifting it off of the window. As soon as i put it back down on the window it just stops. no noise, no clicking, no buzzing, it just cant move. Its as if the wiper is too weak to move it when it has the friction of the wiper + window.

any ideas of what to check? the switch seems to be getting power, it seems to turn the motor on and off properly. The connections in the back are getting power over 12v, between 12-14v.

anyone know which wires i should check and how? i cant find a good set of directions to test the rear motor and i live in a state that gets rain 260 of 365 days a year, its really hard to see out of these windows here when you get tree residue film all over your window and its wet, its all blurry etc.

any help is appreciated, sorry for the wall of text but i like to be thorough.

Have you tried lubing everything that moves back there? maybe when it is on the window its creating too much tension and unable to move cause some component is not lubed? just a thought

well, the motor is new and i opened it up to look at the gear in there and its all freshly lubed. thank you though that is a good place to look. my old motor did have some debris in the grease and as i rotated it by hand and it got stuck.

but yea my new motor is clean and freshly lubed

Almost sounds like the motor is not able to draw enough current. This could be due to corrision on the ground connection, possibly the positive side; could be a damaged power wire(s).
I know you measured the voltage, but this draws next to nothing in current. Need to figure-out a way to supply fused power directly from the battery to the wiper motor just for a test. This will determine if the wiper motor is bad or the wiring to the motor.

Look for wiring to frame connections at the rear....you might find the bad connection by looking.

Good luck.

im a novice to diagnosing electrical problems. i do have a multimeter and i know how to test ohms, but i dont know what ohm setting i should be using nor how many ohms i should see on a good ground. the lower the better, but what is an acceptable ground? also, are there any wires that i can test near the motor? i will take a look around for anything that connects to the body i guess. I do have my tailgate plastic interior panel removed, so i have direct access to my motor and all of the plugs that are connected etc. I just dont know what to test really. and wiring diagrams are like a different language to me, i suppose i can study it some. any help is much appreciated.

get a roll of wire and go from the power out of the switch to the wiper motor at the rear with the multimeter on ohm in between and read it. just flip thru the settings till you get a decent reading. to put you in the park should be reading something along 0.05ohm anything over 0.5ohm and you have a problem in the wiring
