Hi,
I just bought a 2004 blazer. The owner just gave standard keys and I am wondering if the car had a remote key or start? How can I find out?

 

Remote start would have to be aftermarket.

RKE, check the RPO code list in the glove box for code AU0 (A U Zero). If you have this, then pull down the hush panel above the driver's footwell. The RKE module will be located behind the data link connector. You will need to get remotes that have the same FCC ID code on them (with a T not an R though).
