Default Remove Fan

I am trying to change my water pump pulley on my 2004 Chevy Blazer ZR2 and I am not sure how to remove the fan itself. Do I simply turn the center of the fan which looks like a large bolt to disconnect it? If anyone has done this please let me know. Thanks

Default RE: Remove Fan

Yes, you remove it by turning on the large hex. You must hold the water pump pulley while you loosen the fan clutch.
