A bad plug wire or spark plug would give the same result.

 

ok heres the update. installed new spider runs like a champ. Idles nice and smooth

 

Good job. Must have failed when replacing the manifold gasket. Just for grins, look into the top of the old injector assembly, where the connector plugs in. See if all of the pins are straight, and none of them are bent over.

 

Thats the first thing I looked at, all ok maybe it was its way of telling me to upgrade

 

If that was the original injector assembly, it made it a good long while! Glad you got her fixed, thanks for posting back!
