Replacing European remotes and receiver with a US receiver
Hi ,
First of all a short introduction as I am new to this Forum.
My name is Paul and I live near Eindhoven in the Netherlands and off course a "proud" owner of a 2001 Chevy Blazer.
Proud is a big word as my car is sitting at a garage now for 10 weeks in search for a new remote. As I have small faith in them securing one I was wondering if you can replace the complete european system with a US market system??
Thanks for any help.

I nearly bought that but mine is working now .
My auto electrician ripped out the aftermarket texalarm system so I have no red light now just the security light in the dash . Let me know if it fixes it the guy only has one and lots watching it may be worth the gamble .the unit is located behind the dash facia top left if it's rhd .very easy to remove but don't snap the plastic claws .
I hope this works for you. It's the site from the other thread.
