Default Reset SES light

The service engine soon light on in my 97 blazer comes on every so often. It will come on and stay on for a month or so and then stay off for about the same amount of time. Is there anyway of clearing the light? I disconnected the battery but the light remains up.

That light is telling you something is wrong with your truck. Like mikeinwi said, get the codes read and let us know what they are. Don't just clear 'em and forget 'em.

I definitely agree. Get your codes read and then repair the problem. The codes will clear themselves once the problem is no longer present.
