Default Retriving Diagnostic Codes on 1995 Blazer

I'm having a little trouble reading the codes on my 1995 blazer. It seems to have an OBDII port with the OBDI system because the tune up sticker says it OBDI compatible. I've tried the paper clip trick and that didn't work, I've also tried having it scanned at AutoZone and his OBDII scanner wasn't able to communicate with my Blazer. I've also heard that cycling the key for a certain amount of times causes it to flash codes. I'm stuck.

should be able to use OBDII scanner on it did you turn the key on? if you don't it probably will not be able to communicate , Also have used a few different scanners and found some are only able to read 1996 and up. I use a basic autel and have no problems reading a 1995

It's Pins 5 & 6, if your obd has 16 pins use the paper clip make a v and hook up both pins 5 &6

Jumping pins will not allow you to retrieve DTC's, and it can do permanent damage to the PCM. Your 1995 has OBD1.5 and is a transition from OBDI to OBDII. It is not fully OBDII compliant and not all scan tools can communicate with your PCM.
