Default reverse not working well... help!!!

i have a 2000 blazer and my reverse is not working well most of the time unless parked on a hill. sometimes it will kick in if i pump the gas a bunch. what does this mean? do i need a new tranny?

Why did you post this twice? https://blazerforum.com/forum/genera...ll-help-79307/ its against forum rules!

Does it make any sounds? Dies it do it all the time or when cold or warm?

How is 2nd & 4th gear? Could be a sun shell gear on its way out.

It is slipping one way or another.
