Default Rock Auto for Canadian owners

Hi have a question for the Canadian folks in the forum

Have you ordered parts from Rock Auto in the states and had them shipped to Canada. I know that they price their stuff in CA$ but I am curious about the duty and taxes once the order crosses the border..

Are the taxes and customs duties enough to offset any price savings?

Just wondering

Thanks

So I ordered stuff, and they included those in the prices.

BUT...

you need to try and find out where it is getting shipped from. They sometimes will ship from further locations, and that'll cost you more. I try to cross reference part numbers with them, and find a canadian location to purchase from.

great site tho, well kept and deals are always great

I've ordered quite a few parts from RockAuto. Some of the heavier parts can be expensive to ship, but I find they're often way cheaper than Napa or CT. You do want to watch out for anything with a core return price. The cost of returning a core across borders is way too much.
