rotor rub

Default rotor rub

I have a 1999 blazer it has a rotor rub on one side of the pad slide. when I hit the brakes the rub goes away. Any help please & Thank You.

Welcome to the forum and you really should post this in the correct thread. However, what is the rotor rubbing on: dust shield, caliper bracket, caliper or pad? The best way to tell is to pull off the wheel, caliper and rotor and check for shinny wear spots.

Thank you for the reply. trying to learn this thread stuff. It is the passenger side front with the rotor rubbing on the caliper bracket on one side. left hand inside as you look at it.
