need a new tccm. found some cheap ones on ebay from full size Tahor and Yukon, Part numbers do not match but plugs look the same.

anyone know if these units are swappable from s10 to a full size?

I would guess no, unless it came out of the same transfer case as what's in your truck. But even then their could be differences. It's a gamble. If part numbers are different then there is a difference. It could be something as simple as the way it bolts in, or something as much as the motor in it turns the complete opposite way than it's supposed to for your application. You just don't know.

basically I want to swap my non functioning tccm (NP8, 4 button, 236 TC, '99 Blazer LT), part number 15154323 with one from a '99 Yukon (which also has NP8, 4 button but a 246 TC) part number of tccm from the Yukon is 15049679.

I read somewhere that those part numbers refer to the same tccm unit, but would like a second opinion.
