Default seat belt help

I have a 01 Jimmy, some idiot cut out the seat belts. I just picked up a set from a 01 full sized blazer. everything seams to fit, but they are keyed differently. I could drill a couple holes to make them fit. My concern is will they unlock once installed (they only pull out if installed) if I do make the mod and they don't unlock, will the mod make the proper belts not work either?

Update--- I'm an idiot. the locking has nothing to do with being installed (I thought it was a magnetic sensor or something) it's all about the angle. that being said does anybody know any reason I shouldn't use these belts?

Default Well they are in

The only big problem I had was the lower front passenger side bolt. a little heat and 2 broken bits and it came out.

Why not use a set from the same vehicle? I can't imagine they would cost a lot from a salvage yard.

I'll probably go get the rear ones when I have time, but I needed them right away, and I got the whole set for $40. The good news is the front belts are a perfect fit.

Got a question myslef about seat belts. Someone cut mine and wondered if there was a difference between the front and rear ones. What about 2 door and 4 door? I found one out of a 2 door and they say it will not fit on a 4 door. Anyone?

Thanks

the front is the same in both, but the rear is different, I would recommend finding the correct ones. I managed to put the 4 door rear in a 2 door with very minor mods. also some years had the seat belts recalled, so if you put the wrong ones in the dealer probably wouldn't be able to help you if they needed replaced.
