I'm pretty good with basic repairs, but after searching the forums I'm stumped on a certain issue. I have power seats, and they work perfectly, except for the fact that the previous owner somehow got the driver's seat stuck in a permanent state of ghetto, it's reclined all the way back and it won't come forward. The strange thing is it's not from lack of power, when I push the switch the seat is trying to move, but something is stopping it from moving. Any ideas?? Any help you can lend would be much appreciated!
I have the same problem but it's like one track is stuck

Unbolt your seat from the floor and tip it back where you can see what's going on under it. You can use some jumper wires and a battery to power it. It may be a bad track or something wrong with the motor itself.

I tried to take the seat out but the torques bolt in the back by the seat belt will not break free. I tried 4 different impacts that sog is stuck. Any ideas on that

Try taking a soldering iron and placing it on the bolt for a few minutes, itll heat up the bolt a little and hopefully help break it free... I have been able to break them with a 24" breaker bar...
