Security issues how to by pass??
i have 1999 jimmy 4.3 vortec.
So for a long time my security light would come on. Usually was never an issue, just the light came on thats it thats all. Sometimes it wouldnt start and id have to tighten the battery cables and it would be fine, fired up. Just recently its been doing it a lot more and my cables are fine. it would crank over, run for 2 seconds then die out. I am not gonna spending a chunk of money to fix the pos. i need to do something about it cause i dont want it dieing out on me when i have my 2 year old with me and were left stranded.
is there a way i can bypass the security system without taking it to a GM dealership???
