Default shakin'

Hi All:
I have a 97 s-10 blazer and the thing started a wicked shaking/vibration in the front end, I checked the ball joints, tie rod ends etc... and they all seem ok. Would a cv joint cause this kind of vibration? I only get the vibration when the engine is under load, if i just coast there is no vibes
any help is appreciated
thanks
scott

Assuming you have a 4WD as you mention CV joints... Does it do it in both 2WD and 4WD?

Have you checked the motor mounts?

A fan hitting the shroud could be described as you have... Just a thought.

does the same in 4wheel or 2 wheel drive, lugs are tight, nothing in the suspension seems loose at all, i will look at motor mounts tomorrow
