Question Shaking while in 4x4

I have a friend that has a 1999 4x4 blazer and stated he has a problem. He said he can feel shaking from what "feels" like the rear end while in 4WD and traveling around 5-15 MPH. He said if he is driving faster he can not feel it, but when slowing down and coming to a stop or taking off he can. I stated that it almnost felt like his rear did not want to go.

I told him I would throw it to some blazer pros since he does not have a computer. Any ideas?

My friend's 4Runner had the same issue. When was the last time he got his rear differential fluid changed? Also sounds like it could be an alignment issue. Both are cheap services and take less than an hour to do both.

Not sure about the fluid, but I did tell him that he could need an alignment and he said he was sure that he did, so that my be it. Would it do the shaking only in 4WD though, becuase he does not feel it when he is in 2wd?
