Also gone a bit erratic. ATF is up and smells unburnt.
Shift solenoids or $400 for junk wait.
Smooth's out when warmed up.

Hi Jeff! Any DTC's relating to the throttle position sensor? Only other thing that comes to mind, is an old TSB for a harsh 1-2 upshift. It has to do with the spool valve wearing its bore in the valve body. The valve ends up cocking in the bore, and eventually the line pressure increases and forces it to move, which causes a delayed, harsh shift. There are aftermarket kits available to repair it, or replace the valve body. There is another TSB that addresses a ball check hammering the valve body spacer plate. I've seen a couple of those, and it's an easy fix, just have to pull the valve body off. If either one of these TSB's end up being the problem, ya might want to have your neighbor do it for you. Buy him a 12 pack, and take him out fishing Or have your wife do it, and then fix dinner for you when she's done

Ha! Chuck, I rolled over my good Bi-Directional last time I changed the last fuel pump.
Sometimes I feel like such an ***!
Waiting for a cheap reader to come from E-Bay.
I do have a 12v dip stick oil pump coming to pull ATF so I don't have to handle a full pan.
I loaned the one I had to a friend, then he died. Very hard to ask the widow if I can go through the garage for my oil change pump and my Ruger10/22!

Well Captain you may well have saved me a real nightmare, the e-bay code reader does not work on my 95 1.5 so I charged up my old 20lb lap top and my "borrowed'' program, PO122, TPS. Will check to make sure it has 5v then go get one at AZ for three times the price of Rock.
This is what I was going to get.

Trouble installing TPS. Hello people! Picked up a new TPS. Had trouble getting it to mount flat so I figured I would get the wife to come and help. Had her step slowly on accelerator pedal till the TPS went flat then I tightened it up.
Started instantly at WOT. I figure Im 180 out. Anyone know how to re-set these things. I still have the old one as it came off

Usually don't have to rotate the sensor, (not the throttle) very far, if at all, to get her to lay flat.

R&R'ed it. Now starts properly however will not come off high idle of 2000. Any ideas?

nice. Stay away from Chinese toilet paper... probably has holes in it
