Default slipped cv joint boot

My cv join boot slipped off today doing some serious mudding. Both sides. Is it still drivable til this weekend? This is mg daily driver and I gotta work.

Uh...Slipped off or ripped off? Sure you can drive it,just realize that your CV's are now contaminated! One can clean carefully and throw on a quick boot-hope for the best;but prepare for the worst! All the best to you!

CV joints are not the same as universal joints in that they must be protected from the elements by the boot which keeps the grease from getting contaminated with grit which will destroy the bearings.

Plan on replacing the stub axle which is alot easier than the CV joint itself.
