I have a 99 chevy blazer. I noticed when i was driving and parked that my truck was making a clicking noise , it kind of sounds like its coming from the dashboard. It almost sounds like a really slow blinker. It does it for about a minute. I got into my truck this morning and didnt have the truck on at all and i could hear the same slow clicking noise as well. Any ideas ?

You stated it comes from the dash. Is it possible it's coming from the relay behind the glove box near the passenger side kick panel? Does it sound like a turn signal? If so, you'll probably need to replace the multi-function switch on your column (turn signal switch). Been there, done that.

I will agree with rockp2 and 95teal4x4 on this one. The multifunction switch will cause this to happen when it fails with no other symptoms. I replaced mine after having a similar problem.
There is a very good youtube video by 1AAuto.com showing how to do the complete replacement.
Although, they suggest an E5 Star Bolt Socket to remove a bracket from the steering column, I was not able to find this socket locally. I was able to use a small 1/4" drive socket to remove it. I can't remember the exact size, metric or standard, but I test fitted going smaller and smaller until I found the one that fit snuggly over the "Star" head of the screw.
The "Star Bolt" socket is an External Torx socket.
