Default Slow Fuel Pressure leak?

Ok I am really stumped.

I have a 1996 Jimmy and it has around 160,000 Miles.

I have replaced a ton of parts and am starting to get fed up.

I have replaced.

Spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Distributor cap and rotor
Ignition Coil
Cleaned MAF sensor
Replaced some various vacuum lines
O2 sensor
(pretty much every-single component to the cooling system)

and more importantly

I replaced the Fuel filter about 2 years ago
I replaced the Fuel pump about 1 year ago

All of the parts I used where AC Delco.
When I replaced my fuel pump I spliced the new connector for the top in.

When my car runs, it runs fine. No misfire.

It has started every single time without fail.

However, Every morning it takes 2-3 bouts of cranking to get it started.
Sometimes 5-6.

It ONLY happens in the morning, If i start the car then turn it off, then promptly turn it back on it starts on the first turn over. It is very discerning and I feel like i may be stranded soon. I have noticed a decline in fuel economy maybe like 14MPG city. Occasionally I get an evap leak code but it never stays too long.

I did a fuel pressure test and I got 54-56 PSI while starting and running. I don't lose pressure even when flooring it. I know I supposed to get maybe 60 PSI but my car starts and runs fine?

It holds pressure for many hours(52-55ish) than after checking it every hour it drained to 0 within the time frame of 6-8 hours

Do you think the Spider/pressure regulator is to blame? Is it leaking slowly but delayed making it hard to start? The fuel pump is not even a year old so if its that. . . and its AC Delco. . . sigh. . . .any help would be great!

Here's the first thing to check: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/

Post the results to all 4 tests, and we'll go from there.

The Dorman OE Solutions - Steel Fuel Line Repair for the 96 is not in stock anywhere near me(Kansas). Not at auto zone, oreilly or advanced auto. Is there any other fitting that works? Or you have to order it online?

Any of those stores should be able to order it for you. The 800-170 is the least expensive, and it has a flare that helps retain the rubber line to it. Any of these will work in a pinch though:
118-346
55180
800-153
800-160
800-157

So I bought the Watts LFA-116 1/4” FIP X 3/8” and Watts LFA-80 1/4” MFL X 1/4” MIP, And am about to go get them to order the 800-170, But i don't understand, You say it helps retain the rubber line but there it no way to connect the LFA-116 to a rubber line. Does the Flare attach to the LFA-116 Metal to metal? That is what i kind of assumed but now am unsure.

Sorry, my mistake. Starting at the fuel filter outlet: 800-170, LFA116, LFA80. The fuel pressure tester connects to the open end of the LFA80.
