smell antifreeze under hood
I had the same problem with mine, 9 out of ten it's one of two problems. The upper radiator hose is dripping where it goes to the neck on top of the intake. Or your lower intake manifold gasket is seeping externally.... Mine was both.
- Not unless you keep your engine clean as a pin.
Basic definition of a 'seep' is a very low rate leak that evaporates soon after hitting heat and air .. thus the smell while no drips. Glycols are the last to evaporate.
It takes about eight hours for someone who knows what to do but hasnt done it before. There's all sorts of info on 'how to' and 'how I' on the net and on here.
