Exclamation so confused PLEASE HELP

ok so to start my 95 blazer has started acting like it wants to stall when i press the accelerator. while its in idle it runs like a top and even remains that way when revving the engine but as soon as i put it into drive and start to drive it starts loosing power when i press the accelerator. if i let the idle move the truck it runs fine. also, when i press the accelerator as if im going to pass some one it starts sputtering back fires and acts like it wants to stall. some one help PLEASE

Any codes?
Have you checked fuel pressure?
How many miles on it?
How long have you owned it?
Just looking for more info.

There are many things which can cause the symptoms you describe. Clogged cat... Ignition system problem... Faulty MAP or TPS sensor... Even a problem with an O2 sensor. And more.

As stated earlier, is the CEL (check engine light) on?

only code was shift selenoid B is stuck in off position. no check engine light. truck has 175 K on it but has a new engine. only 1 1/2 y/o. new F.I. cluster new fuel filter. fuel pump is working. fuel pressure is at 54 psi.

54 psi is too low.

what is the normal PSI then? i thought it was 54-64

1995 CMFI system: Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running: Pressure must be 55psi to 61psi. It must remain above 50psi for 10 minutes after the pump shuts off.
