I did a bunch of work on the blazer last week. While I was in there I decided to replace the pads. When I went to hook the drivers caliper up I realized I didn't run the brake line through the middle by the axle. So I decided to unhook the line and the reattach it to the caliper.

When I did this of course some fluid came out but I got it all back together. Now I noticed that my brake pedal feels soft. I mean I do have brakes they work, they just don't work as well as I remember them working. I checked the fluid level and it is still full. Do you think I just got air in the lines and they need to be bled? I read somewhere if you have an air pocket you can't bleed these by pumping. I'm just a little confused on exactly how to do it with the ABS.

 

Bleed them the same way. Start at the PS rear & bleed them until the fluid runs clear. Then the DS rear - same way. Then PS front & DS Front. Always from the furthest point from the reservoir to the nearest & always keep an eye on the fluid reservoir level or you'll be doing it again.
