Soo another problem

Question Soo another problem

okay this hasta do with my 4x4 i searched, so heres wats going on

in my last thread i said it felt like my axle locked up on me, well turns out that it probablly got stuck between 4hi and 2 hi, so heres my problem that just showed up again

there is a loud ticking/bang noise when comming to a stop...............it sounds like maybe my tcase or axle

wellll on my 3button sitch, nothing is lit up, no 2 hi but it will shift into 4hi and 4low...............im stumped..........so anyone??

First, I would try to narrow down the location of the ticking/bang. If the front axle engagement collar is not fully disengaging, it can cause this noise.

it kind of sounds like my front axel near the driverside but i cant really tell, i can feel it under my feet maybe it is the engagement collar.........i was thinking vaccum line or something, i dont know, what damage could it do? lol

wellllllllllll

i found the source of the problem.............i feel stupid now, but it was my wheel bearing, got it changed and man it rides smooth..........i never had the pleasure of driving my truck with a new wheel bearing, the ride quailty is just amazing =D
