Default Spare Tire Mod Help!

Just got an 02 blazer 2D 4x4, I'm looking to take the spare tire out of the back and hook it up on a swing arm on the outside.
So my question would be could I say find one in the junk yard or buy it separately and put it on with ease?
any help is appreciated!

Benedict1337 did that to his 4 door. I think he only had a little trouble getting the nuts on the bolts (that hold the swing arm to the body) through a small opening. Just make sure you align everything up correctly and it should work. I was gonna do this a while back, but I couldn't find a junkyard with a ZR2 or 2dr with the swing arm.

yea its not that hard, just make sure you measure 10 times before you drill the holes. and you may have to cut a hole in the metal on the inside to thread some of the bolts, you get very creative after doing this, lol lots of socket extensions and crescent wrenches, there is a how to on the DIY section, warthogdriver posted it, any questions feel free to ask

Did yall have any problems not using internal brackets like the stock ZR's use. I've read horror stories about doing this mod.

i didnt use one, just run bolts thru inner and outer quarter panel, i did use 1 piece of flat steel between upper an lower bracket to keep the vertical pressure off the quarter a little
